Another busy week lies ahead for the Reds first team and United Women, with friendlies and pre-season training taking centre stage.

As United’s pre-season preparations draw to a close, Erik Ten Hag’s side have two games in just two days this weekend. Both matches are available to watch in the United App, on MUTV and via мคหUtd.com, with more exclusive content to watch out for.

Marc Skinner’s United Women continue their own pre-season training, while three members of his squad face a Euro 2022 semi-final – and potentially a final – before the week is out. The Academy also have a busy schedule as their season approaches.

In addition to this, there are a host of key dates and anniversaries to watch out for in the next seven days.

Here’s your breakdown of what’s happening at United this week…

The Super Cup NI, previously known as the Milk Cup, gets under way in Northern Ireland with United’s Academy represented at the famous event.

Former United Women midfielder Aimee Palmer turns 22 on Monday. Happy birthday Aimee!

TUESDAY

Tuesday is an important day for United Women’s Mary Earps, Alessia Russo and Ella Toone. The Lioness trio take on Sweden in the Euro 2022 semi-final at Bramall Lane.

Kick-off in Sheffield is at 20:00 BST and the Reds will be hoping to progress to Sunday’s final, as the only members of Skinner’s squad still active in the tournament. We wish you all the best!

In addition, Tuesday marks one year since defender Aoife мคหnion signed for Skinner’s side.

In the evening, the Under-21s have a pre-season friendly at Kidderminster. Kick-off is at 19:00 BST.

WEDNESDAY

Ten Hag’s side will continue preparations on Wednesday for the two-fixture weekend, with matches on Saturday and Sunday, and you can follow the build-up on мคหUtd.com and the United App.

The second Euro 2022 semi-final between Germany and France will be played on Wednesday evening (20:00 BST). The fixture will be hosted at Stadium:mk and while there will be no Reds in action, it’s worth keeping an eye on, particularly if the Lionesses progress to the final on Tuesday night.

THURSDAY

We will wish former Red Michael Carrick a very happy 41st birthday!

On this day last year, United Women striker Martha Thomas signed for the club.

FRIDAY

The squad is due to fly to Norway ahead of the Atletico Madrid friendly, and we should be able to bring you an update on the мคหager’s plans for the game in Oslo.

On this day in 1996, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer signed for the Reds. Three years later, he would score the winner in the Champions League final and clinch our historic treble.

United Women мคหager Skinner will mark his anniversary of taking over the reins.

This day marks the date at which former midfielders Carrick and Nemanja Matic joined the club in 2006 and 2017, respectively.

United Women’s Mary Earps, Ella Toone and Alessia Russo could be in action on Sunday, as Euro 2022 reaches its climax, providing England make it through.

The final will be played at a sold-out Wembley on Sunday afternoon, with kick-off scheduled for 17:00 BST. We will find out on Tuesday night whether the Reds trio have progressed and will be in action on this day.
