Arsenal beat Orlando City 3-1 in their latest pre-season friendly.

Oleksandr Zinchenko was spotted watching Arsenal beat Orlando City 3-1 at the Exploria Stadium.

football.london understands that Zinchenko will sign a four-year contract in a deal worth around £32 million. The Ukraine international was spotted wearing Arsenal’s training kit earlier this week as he arrived to complete a medical ahead of his proposed move to the Gunners.

The Gunners missed out on Lisandro Martinez and turned their attention to striking a deal for Zinchenko due to his technical ability and versatility playing left-back and central midfield. Mikel Arteta admitted earlier this week that the club are working on a number of deals and will look for solutions to strengthen his squad before the transfer deadline.

Zinchenko looks set to follow his former City teammate to the Emirates this summer and would’ve been pleased to see his new teammates pick up another pre-season win. Arsenal boss Arteta spoke on Zinchenko’s attendance after the game saying, “Yes, as you’ve seen, he’s here. There are still a few formalities to get everything concreted, but really happy to have him.

“I know the player really well. He’s an exceptional footballer and is someone that is going to bring a competitive edge to that dressing room,” the Spaniard added.
