Reis began his career at the R10 academy in Paraiba, run by former Man City striker and Brazil international Robinho, before joining the Palmeiras academy in 2016 at the age of 10. The market value of this player is estimated at about 14 million euros.
Before the Reis deal, Man City also completed the transfer of midfielder Abdukodir Khusanov from Lens for the same fee of about 40 million euros as the 19-year-old Brazilian player.
