“Manchester City will struggle to finish in the top four this season,” predicted the former Real Madrid and Liverpool player. A premonition that has gone viral after Owen retweeted it by adding a ‘playful’ face.

“Arsenal and Manchester City will be pretty much in everyone’s top four predictions,” the former footballer told Football365.

“I think this year City could stumble”

“I’m going to go for Arsenal first, Liverpool second, Aston Villa third and Manchester City fourth,” Owen continuedbefore explaining his prediction in detail.

“The title is in Manchester City’s hands, but I think this year they might stumble. They have stepped up when they have needed to and last year they had an incredible run, but at some point they will fall short,” said the 2001 Ballon d’Or winner.
